“ The filet cooked medium rare was outstanding! The sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Service was very good. ”
“ Since working in Leeds, I've been here twice. Fantastic steaks and meat. Great atmosphere. Service is friendly even if they play the "I'm not going to give you your check for a half hour than te polite time" game. 4/5 definitely on my list of great places ”
“ We hadn't booked a table bit were told we could fit in for a starter and main. So glad we did it was absolutely amazing! The steak was perfect, the service fantastic. Highly recommended ”
“ This place well surpassed expectation. Had pretty much written it off as another bland franchise. Happy to reality I was wrong. I had gnocchi and I was beautiful. Had a huge piece of goats cheese on it. So nice to have hand made fresh gnocchi rather than the bought stuff. Trio of desserts was also on point. Customer service was superb. ”
“ Miller and carter are a steak restaurant that specialises in beef that is raised on sustainable british farms and matured for at least 28 days. I have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed in the food. They have a really good choice of cuts, which include T-bone, porterhouse and chateaubriand and a beautiful fillet wellington. I also like the childrens menu, a nice variety of smaller cuts of beef as well as fish, chicken and a build your own burger option. Its also quite refreshing to be able to eat out with somebody who is a real steak lover and not have to eat it yourself. The menu has a wide choice for non-steak fanciers. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful and not intrusive. My only real criticism is that it seems to lack atmosphere, this may stem from the fact that it never seems to be even half full. ”
“ I was recently treated to a meal here, and must admit that with all the meat orientated places popping up all over Leeds, i was a bit sceptical. Well after wandering in at about 6pm to a relatively empty place i found a member of the staff and we were shown to a table. all very nice, though we did seem to have caught them snoozing. After that though i have nothing but praise. The waitress was polite and friendly, the surroundings were comfortable and conducive to private converation, and during the meal we didn't get too many 'is everything to your liking sir?' that a nice thing to ask but i have been to some places where it's every five minutes. Anyway to the menu, a very nice selection of steaks and a nice variety of alternative meals,,, i think i even spotted a vegitarian option, though what a vegitarian would be doing in a steak house is a mystery. The Menu was excellent! The cut of meat i ordered was top quality and cooked to perfection, i sometimes find when i ask for a rare steak in this country it comes back as a medium,,, not here, they obviously have a chef who knows their meat. After a nice relaxed meal, and an extremely nice desert, i was relieved to find that my friend didn't have to break the bank to treat me. All in all a top steak house and by the time we were leaving it had become fairly busy so hopefully a place that will be around for a while. ”
“ When I heard about this place I thought "Great, yet another steak house in Leeds" - something that I never eat (lets not discuss why, and just leave it at my having the food tastes of an 8 year old!). BUT, I hear you ask why the 5 stars? Well, I attended the opening evening & have also been back since with some friends. I love the decor of the venue which has a very comfortable modern feel to it, it's not a place that you would automatically know belonged to a chain of restaurants, the staff are friendly (especially the fit ginger one behind the bar *ahem*) and last but by no means least there's a massive range of food to choose from for the none steak eaters amongst us! If you get there early enough in the evening (I think it runs until 7pm) there's a lunch menu where you can get a 3 course meal for around £15, tho just a slight bit more if you're going for the minute steak option. I've already got a couple of other meals planned here already & I'm looking forward to adding this place to my list of regular haunts! ”
“ Went here after seeing the Texas Chainsaw movie. Risky one might say. But it turned out to be one of the best eating experiences so far in Leeds. Of course me and my partner both ordered their specialty and went for the 12oz ribeye, medium rare and it was cooked...perfectly. Very flavoursome and tender, well worth the money at £20. We also ordered chicken wings in BBQ sauce to start and again these were delicious, very tender, the sauce was so good, we also ordered 2 drinks and overall it came to about £50. So great food at great prices! I highly recommend for informal good food times! ”
